Immigration Evaluations in Walnut Creek, California

Clients:

Your attorney has requested you to obtain a psychological evaluation from a clinician to help tell your story, as it would greatly help your case.

Right now, you may be feeling vulnerable, stressed, sad, and anxious. But we want you to understand that completing this evaluation can relieve your fears in knowing that you did everything necessary to help your immigration process.

During this evaluation, we will ask you many questions. All you have to do is tell us about your experiences, your feelings, and your journey. You will have every opportunity to tell us what you wish for the judge to know. Remember the more you say, the more complete the report. But if you do not say, it did not happen. Ultimately it is all up to you.

We will meet for a minimum of one to two sessions, and we will have follow-up phone calls to assure that your story will be told accurately. You will then receive a written psychological evaluation to provide to your attorney.

As a mental health professionals and native Spanish speakers, we understand your grief and concerns. We are ready to help in relieving your worries.

Please note that we offer telehealth and in-person appointments, as it is important to us that you feel comfortable. We only ask you to be in a confidential and private place during evaluation.

How important are Psychological Evaluations:

A research paper on the Journal of Forensics Volume 84, dated November 2021: “Impact of Forensic medical evaluations on immigration relief grant rates and correlates of outcomes in the United States, “states that in a study of applicants who received psychological evaluations by clinicians, 75.4% had a positive outcome, compared to the national asylum grant rate of 42.4%.

Therefore, based on the research, the odds of a positive outcome in your client’s Asylum case significantly increase when you add a Psychological evaluation.
